Everything you type will be seen in the channel. Here are a few commands you may use.

/whois <nick> - shows you a user's info

/nick nick_name - change your nick name to nick_name

/msg <nick> - allows you to send a private note to another user.

/quit - logout from IRC

You may also connect using mIRC, Pirch or Ircle

1. Download the IRC client software by clicking the appropriate button at th e bottom and go to that site and download the software, Windows/NT: Pirch and mIRC Macintosh: Ircle 2. You then add an irc.arcti.ca (port: 6667) as the IRC server to get to #submission.
